Job Description:

Join a specialized CVICU team in a scenic North Carolina city for a 13-week adventure as a Registered Nurse. This role focuses on caring for adult and geriatric patients who arrive sedated, intubated, and connected to advanced equipment such as Swan-Ganz catheters, Impella devices, and percutaneous ventricular assist devices (VADs). You'll work three 12-hour night shifts per week, providing expert post-operative care in a unit that receives patients directly from the OR—many sedated, ventilated, and on multiple medication drips. This is a demanding but rewarding opportunity for experienced CVICU nurses comfortable with open heart procedures, ECMO, Impella, and balloon pump management, offering a chance to hone skills in a high-acuity setting while enjoying the local sights and sounds.
