Job Description:

Join us as a PACU Registered Nurse on a 12-hour day shift for an 18-week travel contract in Albuquerque, NM. This role offers the opportunity to work in a Level I Trauma teaching hospital with 554 beds, focusing on post-anesthesia care following inpatient procedures. You’ll handle post-opp recovery, including pre/post-cath and IR procedures, and float within the PACU to the Holding area when needed. Expect a lively environment with a patient ratio of 1:2, and occasional overnight on-call shifts (1-2 per month). Be part of a team that values agility and experience—requiring 2 years of recent trauma and telemetry experience, along with certifications in BCLS, ACLS, and PALS. This role is ideal for professionals eager to embrace a fast-paced setting and make a tangible impact during their assignment, with guaranteed hours of 36 per week and a focus on quality patient recovery.

Duration: 18 weeks, with a guaranteed 36 hours per week

On-call requirement: Yes, 1-2 overnight shifts monthly
