Job Description:

This travel assignment offers a compelling opportunity for experienced Medical Surgical Registered Nurses to step into a rewarding 13-week contract in Wilmington, North Carolina. You'll be working 12-hour night shifts on a unit that regularly manages a mix of adult and geriatric patients, with an average daily census of around 43. Your role will involve caring for general Med/Surg patients, including those receiving Heparin drips, wound vacs, dressing changes, and high-flow oxygen. Though the focus is on hands-on nursing, you'll also be an essential part of a team prepared to respond to situations like COVID-19 patients and natural weather events, including hurricanes. The environment calls for flexibility, especially with floating to similar units and being ready to work during inclement weather or a disaster.
