Job Description:

Join our team as a MedSurg RN on a 13-week travel contract located in Fort Wayne, Indiana. This assignment features 12-hour night shifts with a weekly commitment of 36 hours, offering a chance to work within a large hospital setting managing a diverse patient population. You will deliver comprehensive medical-surgical nursing care, including assessments, care planning, medication administration, and interdisciplinary communication. Expect to utilize equipment such as IV pumps, wound vacs, telemetry monitors, and manage procedures like colonoscopies and minor surgeries. This role provides the unique opportunity to experience a vibrant hospital environment, where you will float to other medical units as needed, and undergo a thorough orientation process that includes hospital and Epic charting training. Local travelers with at least 1.5 years of Level 1, Level 2, or tertiary experience are encouraged to apply. Certifications required include BLS through AHA and an Indiana or compact RN license.
