Job Description:

Join our team in a cardiac Intermediate Care Unit/Step Down unit for a 20-week travel assignment in Lynchburg, Virginia. This role involves working 12-hour night shifts, providing specialized care for cardiac patients with high acuity levels. You’ll be part of a teaching hospital environment, often working alongside students and new hires, which makes this a great opportunity for those looking to deepen their clinical experience. Prior travel experience and familiarity with clinical tools such as Cerner, vital signs monitors, glucometers, wound vacs, IV pumps, and oxygen delivery devices are required. Charge responsibilities may be part of the role, with appropriate training and pay differentials. The unit emphasizes teamwork and support, especially around patient safety during the busy holiday season when working at least one major holiday is mandatory.
