Job Description:

This RRT-NICU Respiratory / Neuro Diagnostics contract position places you in a vibrant children's hospital setting in Charlottesville, VA. The role involves working in a Level 4 NICU with a focus on respiratory and neuro diagnostics. You'll be performing specialized respiratory therapies, supporting neuro assessments, and engaging with cutting-edge diagnostic procedures. The schedule includes 12-hour day shifts, with every other weekend and holiday rotations, offering a balanced work-life experience. This assignment is perfect for seasoned respiratory therapists with NICU expertise who enjoy a mix of technical challenge and collaborative teamwork. A self-scheduling model allows some flexibility, and you’ll work alongside a dedicated team managing complex patient needs. Certification requirements include RRT, BLS, and NRP, with a preference for Cardiac PICU experience and ACCS. Pending VA license is acceptable if a temporary license can be obtained before start.
