Job Description:

This 17-week travel assignment places you at Phoebe Putney Hospital in Albany, GA, working 12-hour day shifts on a unit known for its high-acuity cases. You will primarily function as a primary care nurse, supporting patients with conditions such as diabetic complications, CHF, COPD, GI bleed, renal failure, and post-surgical care, including amputations and wound management. The role emphasizes patient safety and quality of care, with a focus on fast-paced, high-turnover environments typical of larger hospitals. Your responsibilities include monitoring patient status, collaborating with CNAs and ancillary staff, and maintaining strict adherence to protocols on patient safety, infection control, and documentation.
