Job Description:

Seeking a Medical Surgical Oncology Registered Nurse for a 13-week travel contract in Aurora, Colorado. This role requires a nurse with at least two years of acute care experience, comfortable floating between units and sister facilities as needed. You'll be working the night shift, 12 hours per shift, with shifts scheduled on various days of the week. The assignment involves caring for oncology patients in a facility with 36 beds, utilizing Epic charting, and maintaining nurse-to-patient ratios that may flex based on staffing. Certification in BLS and an active RN license (CO or Compact) are required; an oncology certification is preferred but not mandatory. The unit emphasizes flexible staffing, so adaptability in workload is essential. Night shifts run from 7:00 PM to 7:30 AM, totaling 36 hours per week, for a duration of 13 weeks.
