Job Description:

Join us for a rewarding opportunity as a Medical Surgical Registered Nurse in Columbia, Missouri. This 13-week contract places you on a 12-hour day shift, engaging in post-operative orthopaedic cases, trauma, orthopaedic spine, medicine, and plastics on a 42-bed unit. Expect to float as needed and work every other week, with the chance to experience a variety of patient scenarios that keep the role engaging. With a team ratio of 1:5-6 during the day and 1:6 at night, you'll be part of a close-knit team tackling diverse cases, from routine surgeries to complex trauma. BLS is required, and ACLS is preferred. One year of experience is necessary, and first-time travelers are welcomed. This position involves physical activity—ambulating, reaching, lifting objects over 20 lbs—and comes with exposure to contagious illnesses in a 24/7 healthcare environment.
