Job Description:

This 13-week contract offers ICU Registered Nurses the chance to work 12-hour day shifts in a busy unit that handles trauma, cardiac cases, overdoses, sepsis, and post-procedural patients. You'll be working in a 33-bed ICU with a patient ratio of 1:2-3, gaining experience with various titratable drips such as cardiac medications, insulin, and sedation. You'll be involved in monitoring and troubleshooting vents, nasal cannulas, and other respiratory equipment, with some occasional floating to PCU or MedSurg units. The schedule permits self-scheduling for core staff, with weekend rotations and holiday commitments, including a minimum of two holidays during the contract. The environment emphasizes quick response times, technical proficiency, and adherence to policies such as no artificial nails and drug screening exams, making this a vibrant and fast-paced leadership role for ICU RNs seeking a new challenge.
