Job Description:

This 13-week travel assignment places you in a rural hospital setting in Dickinson, ND, working night shifts of 12 hours each. You will be providing specialized labor and delivery nursing care for moms over 35 weeks pregnant and their newborns, focusing on high-acuity cases with no patient care responsibilities beyond monitoring and support related to labor and postpartum. Your role will involve titrating IV drips such as magnesium and oxytocin, troubleshooting neonatal ventilators, and coordinating with the charge nurse to ensure smooth shift transitions. Collaboration and independence are key, as the facility has limited on-site services and an emphasis on provider consistency and team effort. Scrubs are provided, and a comprehensive orientation is included to help you get acclimated to this unique setting.
