Job Description:

Join Watertown Regional Medical Center as an RN on the Medical/Surgical floor for a 13-week contract working overnight shifts from 7:00 PM to 7:30 AM. This role offers a chance to experience working in a 32-bed unit with typical patient loads of 4-6, managing conditions like sepsis, pneumonia, heart failure, and renal failure. Float requirements are rare but may include assignments to the ICU or Senior Behavioral Health Unit. You'll need at least two years of experience, BLS certification (ACLS preferred), and a team-oriented mindset. The setting provides opportunities to work with advanced equipment including Baxter IV pumps and GE monitors, utilizing the Meditech EHR. The weekly hours are guaranteed at 36, with a commitment of 36 hours per week, and flexibility with weekend rotations.
