Job Description:

We are looking for an experienced Certified Surgical Technologist (CST) to join our team at Maine Medical Center, supporting complex general surgery procedures within a busy Level One Trauma Center. This role involves working in the Operating Room on a rotating schedule with 10-hour days, primarily covering trauma cases, robotics (Da Vinci Xi and SP), and pediatric surgeries. The ideal candidate will bring at least 2 years of trauma and surgical tech experience, demonstrate proficiency in robotic-assisted procedures, and thrive in high-pressure situations. You'll be actively involved in assisting with surgeries, preparing sterile fields, and ensuring smooth operative flow in a setting that handles everything from burns to Whipples and HIPEC surgeries. This assignment offers a unique opportunity to sharpen your skills in a fast-paced, demanding environment while being part of a dedicated surgical team.
