Job Description:

Join a vibrant 42-bed Medical Surgical unit as a Registered Nurse, where you'll be at the forefront of postoperative orthopaedic, trauma, and plastics care. This role involves working 12-hour night shifts (7:00 PM - 7:30 AM) on an every-other-week schedule, with opportunities to float between specialized areas. You'll handle a variety of patient needs, from recovering orthopaedic surgeries to trauma cases, while maintaining ratios of 1:5-6. BLS certification is required, and ACLS is preferred. Bring your 1+ year of experience — first-time travelers are welcome! Expect a physically active role involving ambulation, reaching, and moving objects over 20 lbs, all within a busy healthcare setting that functions 24/7. Prepare for constant contact with patients who may have contagious illnesses, and embrace the dynamic nature of this position, which includes working weekends, holidays, and in inclement weather, all within a facility open year-round.
