Job Description:

Join our team as a Histology Technician specializing in laboratory tissue processing with a focus on MOHs procedures. In this role, you'll be working on site at a busy facility in Frankfort, IN, handling excision specimens, formalin-fixed tissues, frozen sections, and biopsies. Your days will involve precision microtomy, operating cryostats and microtomes, and preparing slides for staining using hematoxylin and eosin, with an emphasis on accuracy and detail. This assignment provides an opportunity to work with challenging cases across commercial, reference, and hospital labs, all while applying your expertise with reagents, tissue cutting, and slide coverslipping. Must be comfortable working a consistent 8-hour shift on Tuesdays and Wednesdays, with a focus on maintaining high-quality histological preparations.
