Job Description:

This ICU RN assignment in Alexandria, VA, offers the opportunity to work night shifts across a 13-week contract. You will be responsible for managing complex neuro and cardiovascular cases, including stroke, intracerebral hemorrhage, brain tumors, and various critical respiratory conditions. The role involves titrating multiple drips like Norepinephrine and Epinephrine, reading EKG strips independently, and coordinating with two clinical techs to deliver high-quality care in a fast-paced neuro-critical environment. Expect to pass an ECG exam on your second day to ensure you're comfortable with rhythm interpretation. Navy blue scrubs are the standard attire, and you'll participate in holiday rotations, including major holidays like Christmas and New Year's, along with minor holidays such as the 4th of July and Memorial Day.
