Job Description:

Join the team as a registered nurse in the progressive care unit (PCU) of Inova Alexandria Hospital, where you'll be the go-to professional supporting adult inpatient care. This role involves floating across various inpatient units like telemetry, medical-surgical, and orthopedic floors, offering a mix of challenging and rewarding patient experiences. You'll interpret telemetry strips, manage cardiac drips such as Cardizem, amiodarone, and heparin, and respond confidently to clinical changes, including arrhythmias and respiratory issues. Expect to work 12-hour night shifts over a span of 13 weeks, providing an engaging balance of professional growth and variety in your daily routine. Flexibility to float and adapt to different units is essential, along with strong neuro assessment and telemetry skills. The position offers a weekly gross pay of approximately $1,955.10, with a schedule averaging 36 hours per week.
