Job Description:

Join Central Maine Hospital in Lewiston, ME, as a Certified Surgical Tech for a 13-week contract working three 12-hour day shifts. You'll be supporting the operating room team in a busy hospital setting, specializing in cardiac, orthopedic, gynecological, urological, and robotic procedures. This role offers an excellent opportunity to gain hands-on experience with advanced surgical equipment, including Da Vinci XI and Mako robots, while working in an environment that values precision and efficiency. Unique to this assignment is the mix of inpatient and outpatient surgeries in a Level 3 trauma center, providing a broad spectrum of cases. You'll be expected to coordinate with surgeons and support staff to maintain sterile environments and facilitate smooth surgical procedures.
