Job Description:

Join a dedicated team providing inpatient rehabilitation therapy as a Physical Therapist in Kalamazoo, MI. You'll work on a 5-day schedule with 8-hour days, focusing on stroke, amputee, and post-surgical patients. Your daily routine will include gait training, therapeutic exercises, balance and transfer training, and family education. This role offers a chance to collaborate closely with the medical team, report on patient progress during weekly conferences, and utilize specialized equipment like Lite Gait and treadmills. The position values experience—at least one year—and requires BLS certification and a state license. Travelers must be at least 50 miles from the facility to accommodate local staffing needs.
