Job Description:

This PACU Registered Nurse position offers a unique opportunity to work in a busy surgical recovery unit that handles a variety of procedures. You'll be responsible for monitoring and caring for patients emerging from anesthesia, with a focus on patients undergoing orthopedics, neuro surgeries, urology, dental procedures (both adults and pediatrics), GYN, and ENT surgeries like T&A or BMT. In addition to standard recovery tasks, you will manage nerve blocks, chest tubes, central lines, intubations, and A-lines. The role involves assisting in Pre-Op, supporting Level II trauma cases, and providing comprehensive post-anesthesia care. Expect an engaging environment where your expertise helps patients safely transition from anesthesia to recovery, all while staying flexible with call responsibilities. This assignment promises a hands-on experience in a fast-paced setting that keeps you on your toes and sharpens your skills.
