Job Description:

Join a specialized pediatric cardiology team as a Pediatric Cardiac Sonographer at the Northern Light Pediatric Specialty Care in Bangor, Maine. This 21-week contract offers the chance to work in both outpatient and inpatient settings, scanning neonates, children, and adults with congenital heart disease. You'll perform comprehensive ultrasound assessments using Phillips equipment, support cardiologists, and navigate both Cerner EMR and PACS systems. Expect to float between clinics, take part in a rotating weekend schedule, and engage in a mix of 8-hour days, including call nights. If you have at least 2 years of independent pediatric ultrasound experience and hold ARDMS Pediatric credentials, this is a unique opportunity to enhance your career while exploring Maine’s scenic surroundings. The role includes bustling outpatient imaging rooms, inpatient scans, and collaborative support from physicians, RNs, MAs, and IT specialists.
