Job Description:

Join a busy ICU step-down unit in Wausau, WI, for a 13-week travel assignment working 12-hour night shifts from 7:00 PM to 7:30 AM. This role is ideal for experienced RNs comfortable managing high-acuity patients such as those on ventilators, trachs, or with sepsis, trauma, and other complex conditions. You'll work in a 36-bed Med Surg Intermediate Care unit, floating as needed to higher acuity areas. The focus is on stability, weaning vents, and tending to trauma and post-surgical patients, with a patient ratio of 4:1. The shift schedule includes every other weekend and holiday coverage, with guaranteed 48 hours per week (36 hours per week during orientation). This assignment offers the chance to hone your skills in a fast-paced environment while experiencing Wisconsin hospitality and scenery.
