Job Description:

This emergency department contract offers a chance to work in a bustling 64-bed unit that handles a wide range of cases, including stroke, trauma, sepsis, MI, and cardiac arrest. The role involves 12-hour day shifts from 8:30 a.m. to 9:00 p.m., with floating duties across various patient populations such as newborns, pediatrics, adults, and geriatric patients. Your expertise will be crucial in managing complex cases and utilizing specialized equipment like rapid infusors and Arctic Sun devices. Experience with EPIC EMR and specific certifications such as ACLS, BLS, PALS, TNCC, and NIHSS are essential, along with an active NY license and documented travel experience. This assignment is unique because of its fast-paced environment and the opportunity to make an immediate impact in a high-capacity emergency setting.
