Job Description:

This 13-week travel RN contract in Fort Wayne, Indiana, offers an engaging opportunity to work in a busy medical-surgical unit handling a diverse range of patient conditions. You'll be providing general medical and surgical care, managing complex cases involving chronic illnesses, infections, neurological issues, and mental health disorders. The shift is 12-hour nights, with the chance to float to other medical units as needed. Expect to perform assessments, care planning, and procedures such as IV therapy, wound management, and monitoring of various equipment. This role is ideal for nurses with at least 1.5 years of experience in a large hospital setting and current IN or compact RN licensure. The weekly commitment is approximately 36 hours, and you'll be part of a team that values quality care and teamwork, with orientation and training included to get you acclimated quickly.
