Job Description:

Join a dedicated team at a Central Ohio facility as a PCU Registered Nurse on a 12-hour night shift. This role involves caring for patients with active oncology diagnoses, including those undergoing treatment for solid tumors and hematology conditions, as well as patients admitted for surgical procedures, COPD, sepsis, pneumonia, and other complex issues. You will provide specialized telemetry monitoring, manage IV insulin protocols, and interpret cardiac dysrhythmias—key skills for this unit. The position requires float coverage within the Ohio Department of Rehabilitation and Corrections (ODRC) inmate corrections unit, which is a secured, locked environment requiring access through corrections officers. Candidates should possess BLS, ACLS certifications, and prior telemetry experience. This assignment offers a stimulating environment for seasoned nurses, especially those with experience in cardiac monitoring and oncology care, seeking a challenge beyond typical hospital floors.
