Job Description:

This registered nurse role in the Progressive Care Unit (PCU) offers a chance to work in a mixed acuity setting that includes Med/Surg, IMC, and neuro patients. You will be responsible for caring for a variety of diagnoses such as DKA, post-surgical cases, influenza, pneumonia, CHF, renal failure, and more. The shift involves 12-hour days, and the assignment lasts for 13 weeks, providing stability and an immersive experience in a vibrant hospital environment. Your duties will include managing lines, titrating IV medications, interpreting cardiac rhythms, wound care, and utilizing Epic electronic health records. The unique aspect of this assignment is the opportunity to handle a broad spectrum of patient conditions in a fast-paced setting, with support from experienced staff and diverse patient populations.
