Job Description:

Join our team as a Registered Nurse on a 15-week contract working 12-hour night shifts in the Cardio Thoracic unit. This role offers the opportunity to care for patients with complex cardiac and thoracic conditions such as MI, CHF, A fib, COPD, and post-surgical cases including lung surgeries and pacemaker placements. You will interpret EKGs, titrate medications like heparin and Cardizem, and manage ventilator equipment including Bipap and heated high flow systems. The setting is dynamic and fast-paced, requiring you to adapt quickly to patient needs while working alongside supportive charge nurses, house supervisors, and skilled PCTs. This position emphasizes hands-on involvement in patient monitoring and medication adjustments, making it ideal for experienced RNs seeking an engaging assignment that enhances clinical skills in a specialized unit.
