Job Description:

This 15-week travel RN position in Peoria, Illinois, offers the opportunity to work the night shift (7 p.m. to 7 a.m.) in a 18-bed MedSurg Acute Care unit. The role involves managing approximately 4-6 patients per nurse, including titration of IV drips like Heparin, troubleshooting oxygen therapy, and collaborating with a dedicated team that includes two PCTs and a 24-hour house supervisor. You’ll be engaging with patients with various diagnoses, gaining valuable hospital experience, and supporting the unit’s smooth operation after a brief orientation shift. This assignment provides a balanced hourly commitment of 36 hours per week within a flexible yet structured schedule, ideal for those looking to expand their clinical skills in a supportive environment.
