Job Description:

This postpartum nursing position offers an engaging opportunity to work closely with new mothers and their newborns in a fast-paced setting. You'll be responsible for monitoring vital signs, performing lab draws, administering medications like magnesium and oxytocin, and providing maternal and newborn education. The role involves hands-on care such as heel sticks, venipuncture, and supporting postpartum bladder training, all while utilizing essential monitoring equipment including fetal and neonatal monitors. This assignment stands out for its critical focus on high-risk postpartum care, making it ideal for nurses experienced in managing complex deliveries and neonatal challenges.
