Job Description:

This emergency room RN position offers a 12-hour night shift schedule, providing a unique opportunity to work during the quieter overnight hours in a trauma-level facility. You'll be responsible for delivering high-standard patient monitoring and interventions in a fast-paced environment, ensuring optimal care during critical hours. Previous urgent care or ED experience in similar-sized facilities is essential. The assignment runs for 20 weeks, starting with orientations scheduled every other Monday, with the requirement to work at least one major holiday. Travelers will experience a shift that combines hands-on trauma response with the chance to refine advanced emergency skills. Please note, local candidates within 60 miles are not accepted for this role, which is based at a well-equipped hospital in Lynchburg, VA.
