Job Description:

Join our team as a Pediatric ICU RN for a 13-week travel contract at a prominent hospital in Peoria, Illinois. This role immerses you in a setting where pediatric patients with diverse diagnoses—from medical and surgical to neuro and cardiovascular conditions—are cared for in a combined ICU, step-down, and intermediate care environment. You'll work 12-hour day shifts from 7:00 AM to 7:30 PM, providing essential bedside nursing in a busy and well-staffed unit. The assignment offers guaranteed hours during orientation, a manageable patient load with nurse-to-patient ratios of 1:1 or 1:2, and the opportunity to collaborate with intensivists, residents, and other specialists. The unit employs advanced equipment including Phillips monitors and ventilators like Servo U and Trilogy, giving you valuable hands-on experience in a critical care setting that combines pediatric, neonatal, and adult levels of care.
