Job Description:

Join Penobscot Valley Hospital in Lincoln, Maine, as a Medical Laboratory Technician (MLT) or Medical Technologist (MT) for a 13-week contract. This role offers a hands-on experience working in a critical access hospital setting, where you'll perform microbiology tests, gram stains, culture plantings, blood cultures, and blood bank procedures. The schedule consists of 12-hour day shifts, with weekends rotating every five weeks and no on-call responsibilities. You'll also fill in Thursday night shifts and have the opportunity to pick up additional vacancies, making this assignment a dynamic challenge for those who thrive in multitasking and independent work.
