Job Description:

This travel healthcare contract offers an opportunity to work as an RN in the Med Surg and Telemetry units at a hospital in Statesboro, Georgia. The role involves providing direct patient care during 12-hour night shifts, with duties including medication administration via bedside scanning, remote telemetry monitoring, and collaborating with healthcare teams to ensure quality outcomes. The schedule varies based on unit needs, and the assignment includes floating between Med Surg and Tele departments, offering a chance to experience different facets of acute care nursing. The position requires recent acute care experience, certification in BLS, and familiarity with Cerner charting systems. Nurses will work in a facility with approximately 35 beds and handle patient ratios of about 1:6-7, with a focus on ortho, post-op, CHF, and respiratory cases.
