Job Description:

Join a busy Level 3 Labor and Delivery unit in Rapid City, South Dakota, for a 13-week travel nursing adventure. You'll focus on managing high-acuity obstetric cases, including preeclampsia, preterm labor, and complex deliveries, while also caring for low-risk patients and newborns in a neonatal level 3 NICU. Expect to work 12-hour shifts, rotating days and nights, with every other weekend off. This role offers a chance to experience a vibrant healthcare environment that handles a wide range of obstetric scenarios and delivers confident, comprehensive patient care. Your days will include managing labor and antepartum patients, performing cervical checks, starting IVs, and supporting postpartum and nursery care, all while collaborating with a skilled team of physicians, RN colleagues, and support staff. This assignment is ideal for RNs comfortable handling high-risk obstetrics and newborn care in a fast-paced setting, with precepting opportunities and orientation support to ensure a smooth transition.
