Job Description:

This tele-intensive RN role in the Emergency Department offers a unique opportunity for nurses with a strong cardiac tele experience to step into a fast-paced environment. You'll be responsible for monitoring tele patients, interpreting EKG strips, and safely titrating cardiac drips such as Cardizem, Heparin, and Amiodarone. The position involves 12-hour day or night shifts, with an emphasis on quick thinking and technical skill, ensuring patients awaiting hospital beds receive timely and precise care. While you'll primarily focus on telemetry, you'll also assist with vital signs, IV starts, and medication administration when needed. No primary ED patient care is required, but the role offers an engaging experience caring for patients from the ER until they are admitted or transferred, all in a hospital setting that values flexibility and teamwork.

Weekly Hours: 36 hours
Hourly Rate: approximately $1,824.06 gross per week
