Job Description:

This Medical Surgical Registered Nurse position offers a rewarding opportunity to work in a fast-paced, trauma-focused unit in Lafayette, LA. The role involves providing specialized nursing care for patients with complex neuro and trauma conditions, including seizures, GSWs, TBI, stroke, and other critical diagnoses. Expect to be involved in procedures such as craniotomies, spinal fusions, and the use of advanced equipment like traction devices and chest tubes. The schedule features 12-hour day shifts, with the chance to engage in occasional emergency team assignments that may require staying at the facility until the situation resolves. The assignment provides an engaging environment where adaptability and expertise in neuro and trauma care are essential.
