Job Description:

Join a dynamic medical-surgical neuro unit as a Registered Nurse on a 13-week contract in Portland, Oregon. This role involves floating between units, with responsibilities focused on patient monitoring, administering medications, and coordinating care for neuro and surgical patients. The night shift runs 12 hours from 7:00 PM to 7:00 AM, and flexibility is required to remain on-call if scheduled shifts are canceled. Travelers must have NIHSS certification, at least two years of acute inpatient experience, and a vehicle for the assignment. Expect to work every other weekend, with no block scheduling. This setting offers a frontline experience in a short-term acute care environment, with opportunities to develop diverse clinical skills while floating across various units based on skill set and facility needs.
