Job Description:

Join our team as a Medical Lab Technician in the vibrant city of Barbourville, KY, for an engaging 13-week contract. This role offers the chance to work 12-hour day shifts (07:00 - 19:00), providing ample opportunity to deepen your laboratory expertise. You will be responsible for processing and analyzing specimens, performing phlebotomy when needed, and working within scope to support laboratory operations. Recent 2+ years of MLT experience, phlebotomy skills, and certifications such as AHA BLS and ASCP or AMT are essential. Some weekend work may be required, adding to the dynamic rhythm of this assignment. This position is perfect for techs who enjoy a fast-paced setting and are comfortable floating within their scope of practice. The assignment's unique nature means you'll experience a variety of routine and complex lab procedures, all while contributing to critical diagnostic work.
