Job Description:

Join our team as a PICU Registered Nurse for a 13-week contract in Paramus, New Jersey. This role specializes in caring for critically ill pediatric patients in a unit with four PICU beds and additional convertible beds. The RN will be responsible for providing total patient care, including supporting COVID positive patients, with a focus on high-acuity care that keeps you engaged and challenged. The position involves floating to NICU, L&D, and postpartum units as needed, with training provided for this aspect of the role. Night shifts run from 7:00 PM to 7:30 AM, with every third weekend commitment. This opportunity offers a flexible self-scheduling system with manager approval and the potential for block scheduling. The RN must have a current NJ State or Compact license, at least two years of PICU experience, and BLS and PALS certifications. Pass a basic arrhythmia exam and maintain Covid certification.
