Job Description:

Join us in Shreveport for a 13-week contract as a registered nurse in the Progressive Care Unit (PCU). This role offers the chance to work a 12-hour night shift in a setting where you'll manage a variety of patient conditions such as AFIB/RVR, DKA, HTN, COPD, and stroke overflow cases. The assignment features a quick-paced environment with patient ratios of 1:3 for RNs and 1:7 for CNAs, providing ample opportunity to showcase your skills and experience. Unique to this position is the involvement in procedures like TPA administration for stroke patients, chest tube management, and tracheostomy care, all while supporting a collaborative team with in-house support including hospitalists, RT, OT, PT, and more.
