Job Description:

This travel healthcare contract offers a unique opportunity to work in the PACU in Sacramento, California, providing advanced recovery care for post-surgical patients. The role involves 12-hour day shifts over a 13-week period, with a focus on patients recovering from procedures such as total hip and knee replacements, general surgeries, neuro, and urology. As a PACU professional, you'll interpret EKGs, monitor ventilated patients (though ventilators are not expected), and coordinate with a skilled team in a well-equipped setting that features a 24/7 pharmacy and RT services. The role emphasizes acute recovery expertise, making it ideal for those comfortable handling ICU-level patients temporarily, all within an environment that values safety and precision.
