Job Description:

Join this 13-week travel contract in West Burlington, where you'll play a key role in providing specialized care in the cardiac and telemetry unit. This position offers the chance to work 12-hour day shifts, delivering attention to adult cardiac, stroke, vascular intervention, and hemodynamic monitoring patients. A unique aspect of this assignment is the requirement to self-study telemetry strips and pass a basic dysrhythmia test during the first week — ensuring you're fully prepared to work in the CCU. This role is ideal for experienced nurses comfortable with EPIC EMR systems, with an estimated 36-hour workweek that may include overtime. While there’s no regular call schedule, occasional on-call duties might be required, with a one-hour response expectation. Your expertise will directly impact patient outcomes in a vibrant and engaging environment.
