Job Description:

Join a vibrant cath lab team in Springfield for a 13-week travel assignment as a Cath Lab RN. You'll work 12-hour days on a busy 5-room unit, circulating diagnostic and interventional cardiac procedures such as adult left and right heart catheterizations, pulmonary artery line placements, and procedural sedation management. This role is perfect for experienced professionals with at least one year of cath lab experience, including first-timers eager to expand their skills. Expect to float within scope if needed, and handle situations like monitoring dysrhythmias and managing procedural sedation, all while leveraging Cerner charting expertise. The setting offers the opportunity to work in a Level I trauma center with a Magnet designation, ensuring a high standard of care and professional growth. The schedule includes weekend work approximately 2-3 times per contract, and there's flexibility in block scheduling during onboarding.
