Job Description:

Join us for a rewarding travel nursing experience in the NICU, where you'll have the chance to make a meaningful difference in the lives of newborns and their families. This 13-week assignment in Castro Valley offers a chance to work in a Level II or III NICU, specifically attending deliveries and neonatal resuscitation, with opportunities to engage in Mother/Baby couplet care. The shift runs from 7:00 AM to 7:00 PM, with some variations based on unit needs, including the possibility of an 11:00 AM to 11:00 PM shift. You'll be part of a team that values your skills and experience, with occasional on-call and floating responsibilities to the Mother/Baby postpartum unit. Job Specifics:

Location: Castro Valley, California
Shift: 12-hour rotating shifts, 7:00 AM to 7:00 PM (some 11:00 AM to 11:00 PM shifts)
Duration: 13 weeks, approximately 36 hours per week
This role provides an excellent opportunity for NICU or postpartum experienced registered nurses to work in a supportive environment that values your expertise. You will care for pediatric, adolescent, adult, and geriatric patients, tailoring your approach based on individual developmental and psychosocial needs. The assignment allows you to enhance your skills in neonatal resuscitation, delivery attendance, and Mother/Baby care while experiencing the diverse culture of the Bay Area.
