Job Description:

Join our team at UW Health Rehabilitation Hospital in Madison, Wisconsin, for a 13-week travel nursing contract working night shifts in a high-acuity inpatient rehabilitation setting. This role is ideal for experienced RNs with at least one year of nursing in skilled nursing or similar 24/7 care environments, especially those familiar with Med-Surg or inpatient rehab. Your day-to-day will involve managing adult patients recovering from strokes, brain and spinal injuries, amputations, and orthopedic traumas, functioning almost like a small medical-surgical unit. While the work is demanding, you'll find satisfaction in helping patients reach their highest recovery potential and prepare for discharge. Expect a schedule of 12-hour night shifts, every other weekend and holiday rotations, with call requirements. You'll be providing care in a facility designed to maximize patient outcomes through specialized programs and a collaborative team effort.
