Job Description:

Join us for a 13-week travel contract in Elsworth, Maine, working as a registered nurse in the operating room. This opportunity offers ten-hour shifts Monday through Friday, with rotating days off and on-call responsibilities that keep your schedule engaging. You’ll support a busy OR team performing approximately 25 cases daily—ranging from general and urology surgeries to ENT, OB-GYN, orthopedics, and endoscopies. Caseloads include both adults and minimal pediatrics, with minimal involvement in robotics or conscious sedation. Your expertise will help ensure smooth room turnovers with support from experienced staff, including CRNAs, anesthesiologists, and resource nurses. The role requires proficiency with Cerner or EPIC EMRs and a minimum of three years' experience in surgical nursing, with certifications in BLS and ACLS. This position is perfect for experienced OR nurses seeking a rewarding, fast-paced environment where every day is different.
