Job Description:

Join our team as a step-down registered nurse on a 13-week night shift contract in Beaufort, SC. This role offers a chance to work in a 29-bed general surgical and ortho unit, with frequent float to MedSurg, Tele, and Stepdown units. You'll be pivotal in providing skilled care during your 12-hour overnight shifts from 7:00 pm to 7:00 am, gaining diverse experience across multiple units. The position requires at least two years of med-surg and step-down/PCU experience, with comfort in managing patient ratios up to 1:4-5 on Stepdown and 1:5-6 in MedSurg. Travelers must be licensed in South Carolina and willing to float as needed. Each day brings a mix of challenge and collaboration, with an emphasis on critical skills such as IV starts and adherence to safety protocols.
