Job Description:

Join our team as a registered nurse in the Intermediate Care Unit (IMCU) at a renowned facility in Rockford, Illinois. This 13-week contract offers 12-hour day shifts, providing an excellent opportunity to apply your skills in managing stroke, cardiac, sepsis, and surgical patient cases. Your expertise with trach cares, Bipap, IV titration, and set-rate drips such as Heparin and Cardizem will be essential to supporting patient recovery and stability. Experience with ventilator equipment and telemetry monitoring is a plus. This role is unique because you'll be part of a supportive team led by a charge nurse, with opportunities to float across the house (excluding ER & OB), ensuring variety and collaboration. Expect a balanced schedule with weekends and holidays on rotation, all within a facility committed to a drug-free environment. You will undergo a brief orientation and be part of a unit that values your professionalism while offering a steady, engaging work experience.
