Job Description:

Join a dedicated cardiac telemetry unit as a Registered Nurse on a 12-week contract, working 12-hour day shifts. This role offers an engaging opportunity to monitor adult to geriatric patients with conditions such as post-MI, heart failure, arrhythmias, and peripheral vascular disease. You'll be performing vital signs and blood glucose checks independently, with the chance to work with advanced systems like Epic EHR and Pyxis medication dispensing. The unit prides itself on a 1:5 nurse-to-patient ratio and a focus on delivering high-quality care in a well-equipped environment. Job Specifics:

Location: Augusta, Georgia
Shift: 12-hour days from 07:00 to 19:30
Duration: 12 weeks with 48 hours weekly commitment
Unit: Cardiac Telemetry, 16-bed unit, with an average daily census of 16 patients. Expect to work weekends with six shifts covered within each six-week schedule period. This role involves floating within the facility as needed, with no call requirements. Holiday work is required if applicable during your assignment. The unit uses systems like Epic, Pyxis, and SBAR; scrub color is navy blue.
