Job Description

This 13-week travel contract is seeking a Registered Nurse with behavioral health experience to support pediatric and adult psychiatric populations in an acute inpatient setting. You will care for patients ages 5 through geriatric, administer medications, document in Cerner, facilitate groups, and use de-escalation and restraint-management skills when needed. The assignment includes floating between pediatric and adult units, with pediatric behavioral health experience preferred. Travelers may also have the opportunity to serve as Charge Nurse, though this is not required. BLS and an active Maine RN license are required; MOAB training is provided during orientation.

Expect crisp, cool conditions with changing skies and the possibility of wintry weather as the season progresses. Heavy snow can occur during winter, so plan for cold-weather travel and outdoor activities.
